Project Description
T2 or Tea Too (est. 1996) encourages everyone to find something suited to them. The five things that are the essence of the brand are quality, sustainability, community, their colours (orange and black) and customer base. They are refurbishing their store in Westfield Penrith which serves as a shopping centre.
The client wanted a space that transforms the retail experience into something new and fun utilising environmentally safe materials.
The vision for the space is to create an enjoyable retail experience that sparks a journey through not only the space but also the products the client has to offer. The materials have minimal contrast with dark undertones, encouraging customers to explore the space. The mirrored walls and synthetic grass on the ceiling are inspired by Alice in Wonderland, the theme throughout the space, and is a play on bringing the outside inside. The joinery also features Japanese burnt timber or Shou Sugi Ban imprinted with a lace pattern. The identity of the new store is defined by the hats that hang above the window display and POS, drawing heavy inspiration from the theme. This design is unique, interesting and draws the eye into the journey of the store and T2 products.
